you know, i'm kinda getting bored being stuck at home. so much for being social responsible, that i can only resume school/work this wed. how wonderful a birthday gift! *pouts*
but nevertheless, i'm glad for a second holiday of home quarantine after my bangkok trip. i remembered i was very whinny and was full of complaints about how my first 2 weeks of june hols were taken up by seminars and workshops. after which came the cell retreat at batam and following, my trip to bangkok. i was complaining about the hectic back-to-back timing and how hols don't seem like hols anymore.
yet this 7 days seemed more like a blessing in disguise now. over the last few days, i managed to do quite a bit of admin work at home. i finally replied those long long ago emails which i hestitated to do so immediately cos of the need to act upon those responsibilities almost at once. i was also able to prepare quite a bit of work for the academics of my students.
apart from the fact that there is a mountain load of work and admin matters to attend to once i get back to school, i am pretty relaxed at home at the moment. well, no point hurrying now cos there isn't much i can do since i can't go to school anyway. i shall just stay happy writing my own quarantine stories at home.
but then again, i can't wait to get back to school to settle all that i need. And to get my momentum going again. my engine is quite recharged enough, i need to get moving soon before i turn into a couch potato!
yet through all the hoo-ha about the H1N1 influenza, i thank God for keeping me well and healthy! :)
