MY FIRM FOUNDATION

we all start off with the tools we have, the tools we need.
thats when i discover the many tools i have.
the different kinds of tools i can use.
tools to build my path, my journey.


but many a times, i find myself go around in circles.
it seemed to me that i may be building what i want.
building my very own sandcastles to live in, to live with.
it is fun, it is tiring, it is challenging, it brings the me inside me.


yet along with the building, comes losing the focus.
when the focus is lost, i don't know what i am building.
i don't know why am i building.
i don't know who i am building for.
thats when i realised that things can come to a halt.
when what i've done or i've tried to do come undone.


but i know and i've set myself to stay rooted on solid ground.
when i have seen the firm foundation i can build with first priority.
thats when i know that i can truly be thankful and joyful.
in every circumstance.


then i will finally and truly see the beauty of the colours that God has crafted into me :)
