first day of school

phew. its been a long anticipated yet hesitated wait. but i'm glad school began, although just a little to get out of my comfortable break in the holidays. i took boon feng & sixue for the first time and considering that there were many changes in teachers, classroom arrangements, programme, schedules et cetera et cetera, both the kids and i did pretty well for a start.

well as you all know, si xue was his usual humourous and amusing self when he tried to "bully" me and see how far he could "push" his way around with me. so did boon too. but i think i was prepared and together with evelyn's and eunice help's, today turned out a lot better than i expected too! :)

sixue's catch of the day:

evelyn: sixue, where is teacher charlene?
sixue: where is teacher charlene?
evelyn: yar, i am asking you. where is teacher charlene?
sixue: no more teacher charlene!
evelyn: no more teacher charlene?!

evelyn: you're wrong, sixue. teacher charlene is in pebbles class. teacher beixuan has come up to coral class to take you.
sixue: no more pebbles class, pebbles class is closed down. only coral class is opened.
evelyn: ?!

evelyn: sixue, no more pebbles class? then what is going to happen to teacher charlene?
sixue: pebbles class close down, no more pebbles class. everybody go to coral class. so teacher charlene will come up to coral class later because pebbles class is going to close down.
