being sick simply just means that a few things:

1. no amount of work gets done
2. lie around at home feeling uncomfortable & grouchy all the time
3. spending a few days of doing nothing, feeling inproductive

getting scoldings & naggings out of love & concern seemed pretty effective afterall. i felt like i was trying to make more deliberate efforts to drown myself with all kinds of "cooling" liquids & more rest to recover faster. many thank yous to a few booboos for their "aiyo, you ah" & whatsnot. heh.

well, but mel's right afterall. being sick is a great excuse to rest. and i choose to rest not just physically, but in the presence of God too. somehow, praying makes you feel better inside even though you still feel uncomfortable on the outside :)
