WEATHER UN-PREDICTABILITY

under the heat of the saturday morning sun, we went for solitude at east coast park. upon some chatters and snapping of pictures, we then decided on settling down somewhere near the lighthouse.

we began with worship and some light sharing before we started on our individual personal time with God. unfortunately as we were just started our quiet moments on our own, we saw dark & heavy clouds moving towards our directions.

and a few mins later, it started POURING with the companions of THUNDER ROARS & LIGHTNING FLASHES. then we felt the blows of the FREEZING WIND.




we would have stayed in our little hut to continue our personal time with God even in the rain. at least we were shelthered. it would be pretty romantic except that we were practically freezing with the chilly wind blowing the rain in from all directions! which we finally decided to leave with the help of 2 miserable umbrellas in the midst of the heavy rain and poor shuyan who was so ready to shuffle to & fro between the two points with the umbrellas. well, at least we had umbrellas!

so we didn't have solitude in the end and we weren't exactly dry from battling the heavy rain either. nevertheless, we can always fix another time soon for solitude again. and this time around, i will call the weather forecast :)
