"YOU NEED TO EAT A LOT TO GET PREGNANT"

i casually asked on the topic of pregnancy since james mentioned about this mother who walked by my class to see her toddler in the toddlers' class.

me: james, is your mummy pregnant?
james: no, my mummy is not pregnant.
me: oh so do you want your mummy to be pregnant?
james: oh my mummy is not pregnant. you need to eat a lot to become pregnant.
me: HUH?! need to eat a lot to become pregnant?!

me: do you know what is inside a pregnant lady's tummy?
james: yes i know, a baby lor! *replies innocently*
me: so why do you say that the woman must eat a lot to get pregnant?
james: because if you don't eat a lot then the baby won't grow. so when the baby won't grow, it means that the woman's stomach will not get bigger!
me: ?!

seriously, i think james has a pretty high level of logic :)
