we had curriculum training the whole day which ended off with a secret recipe treat from my boss! basically, my boss discussed and decided that we would implement the multiple intelligence concept into our curriculum lessons for the children. which all of us foresee that it would take a lot on our part to prepare and consciously incorporate the different intelligences into our classes.

but it was fun understanding how we work as individuals, knowing and affirmming each of ourselves with the different kinds of intellgences we display at work and towards each other. it wasn't that boring and info-gathering as i thought it would be. in fact, my boss had a lot of hands-on activities that kept us moving around, discussing and A LOT of REFLECTIONS. basically, she drilled on us to think more.

i'm glad too, to be able to understand why i do certain things with my kids and how i should try to work on putting in my less-dominant intelligences more often during my time with the children.

anyways, i'm glad that the week was over. out of the 5 working days of this week, i spent 3 days struggling and wrestling at war with eng kiat and his endless burst of emotions. which left me feeling very much helpless and frustrated at the end of those days. but after much praying and reflecting, i'm now more determined to face a new week, to try new ways & methods of fighting more upcoming battles with him! :)
