i rested at home today, didn't do any work since i woke up with a slight temperature and feeling like as though i'm going to lose my voice again. had to call shuyan last min to tell her that i couldn't turn up for cell this morning. boohoo :(

anyways, yanying & i were supposed to meet up for dinner last night but she ended up calling to tell me that her mum cooked dinner. so i went to her house and ate there instead. i certainly enjoyed myself at her place. her parents were great cooks, very friendly & hospitable too. the casual chat at the dinner table with her mum was comfortable enough for me to feel like i could treat her like my own too. it certainly felt like home!

i got a pleasant surprise when yanying showed me the view out of the the windows in her room. her room faces a big patch of greens which also allowed the room to enjoy the company of great night breezes. i can definitely do with a room like hers if i'm faced with lots of stress & tension.
