my kids were fooling around while waiting for me to get started with lessons today. it was pretty ok until a few of them decided to play tug-of-war with james being the rope. so 2 kids pulled james' arms from both sides and james allowed them happily. and the rest of the class were practically cheering for either team on each side. it was getting out of hand that i decided to step in. i got the class to sit and pulled james up to the front.

me: SO, i see that my K1s have found themselves a new toy called J-A-M-E-S!
tzeyu: what is J-A-M-E-S?
james: *sheepishly* its my name
me: since james is such a fun toy to play with, i will put him here at the front and anyone who wants to play this toy can come up now.
vera & lukas: i don't want.
rian: i also don't want.

me: but i thought you were having so much just now? so who likes to play james? you can come and play james now.
jie en: i don't like to play james.
carmen: i also don't like to play james.
dylan: i don't like to play james.

james: i also don't like to play james.
me: *looks at him*
james: *realised what he just said, covered his mouth and giggled* Haha. so funny. i just said i don't like to play me.
me: HAHAHA.


ARGH. chinese new year is like less than 36 hours' time and i totally haven't started cleaning up my room!
