I NEED A RICH BOYFRIEND!

out of the 8 girls i have in my class, 5 of them are super talkative and chatty. sometimes they talk so much to the extent that i think i could even compare them to those old aunties gossipping at the void decks while plucking tow gays!

it was bad foresight on my part to put the bunch of "aunties" to play dolls together this afternoon because their noise level were high up to the ceiling with them chatting away. however like all old aunties' tales & gossips & news, their conversations were pretty much interesting and up-to-date too. so me the teacher, being kaypo enough to overhear some news that could raise a few eyebrows.

kaiyi: i like to make my doll pretty and nice. so that when other people see then they will say that i have made her very beautiful.
tzeyu: yar me too! i also like to wear pretty dresses and look beautiful. sometimes i tell my mummy and she will get very nice dresses for me.
jie en: oh my mummy do that too. but sometimes she say that the clothes cannot buy too many because if i grow bigger then have to keep buying a lot.

summer: i like to wear pretty clothes too!
carmen: my mummy brings me to shopping in orchard you know. then i ask her why girls like to wear pretty clothes. so my mummy said it is because girls like to look nice and they also like boys to say that they look nice!
me: ?! (i wonder if it was appropriate for carmen's mum to say that)

tzeyu: oh do boys say that you look nice? i thought they only just play their own toys and games?
me: *chuckles* ( i second that!)
kaiyi: no wonder my big big jiejie (her teenage cousin) always say that boys are irritating.
me: LOL.
jie en: no la, i don't really want boys to keep looking at my nice dresses. i just like to see them in the mirror myself. (wah not bad, good self esteem!)

summer: actually i like wedding dresses. they are so white and so beautiful! then when the bride walk in can hear the wedding bells!
carmen: oh yes, i want to wear a wedding dress too. then i walk in wearing the most beautiful white dress in the whole wide world!
me: *giggles* (WAH. i don't even think i've thought that far yet but look at how my little girls are chattering away.)

summer: carmen, so you want to wear a wedding dress and so that everybody will say that you look beautiful?
carmen: yes yes of cos! i want to have the most beautiful wedding dress in the whole wide world!
jie en: but then your dress will be very very expensive you know! how are you going to buy when you have no money?
summer: yar lor, beautiful dresses are expensive you know! who will be your husband?
carmen: oh i will find a boyfriend to get married together and i can wear the most beautiful wedding dress!
me: ?!

*a few seconds later*
carmen: oh but i will need a rich boyfriend!
me: *faints*
