i laid down 4 basic rules in my class ever since i took them 3 weeks ago. as i look through them again, it came across my mind that i could also learn to use these 4 rules in my personal life.

rule #01:
happy hands
(to do things that make your friends & teachers happy)

rule #02:
use your words
(no whinning & crying or hiding in one corner. speak up and say how you feel/what do you want)

rule #03:
turn on your listening ears
(listen when your friends/teachers are speaking)

rule #04:
raise your hands when you want to speak
(let others know that you want to speak so that they would pause and listen)

hence with these 4 learning points at this juncture, became 4 other questions that i asked myself.

#01:
are my actions pleasing to the people around me?

#02:
do i share how i really feel, including those little frustrations/irritatedness/disappointments?

#03:
do i make an effort to listen to others? also, how much have i been tuned in to God's voice?

#04:
in moments when i felt little promptings to speak/share/initiate things, do i let others know?

these questions, whose answers would need some thinking & pondering, seeking & searching. but you know, i really thank God for these little enlightenments and revelations which i often picked up from my area of work. they just make learning and growing in my christian walk fit into pieces :)
