i had to stand in for the usual morning circle time for the older group of children because my fellow colleague (who usually lead the devotion/singing) is away for the whole week.

i thank God for this timely opportunity cos after 2 days of taking them and teaching them those old sunday school songs, it seemed to have lifted my spirits up.

but it ain't easy, leading a group of about 30 kids all by myself. (mingchun, now i really know how you feel to be the main worship leader in david club). yet it was really much enjoyable and added more meaning when we ended off with a little prayer to start the day.


the children filled the room with their joyful spirits as their voices sang with such innocence and obedience. (with the exception of some monkeys fooling around)
in my stagnant moments, these songs just spoke to me about calling out to the Lord once again. it just encourages me to see these kids believing wholeheartedly that there is a God who cares and Jesus who helps in every moment in time.
