ahhhhhh. super sleepy now, after the whole day out playing some good-old funfair games out in the hot sun at my mum's department family day.

and i just reached home from my dad's last min crazy idea of leaving the house at 9pm to go ikea & giant @ tampines.

ULTRA MADNESS.

anyways, my mum bought some japanese purple sweet potatoes lately. but today, she realised that she better start cooking it before they turn bad. after giving it some thought, she decided that she'll cook plain porridge and add the sweet potatoes in.

i was a little in doubt, because i've only known of people adding in those normal orange coloured ones in plain porridge. but nevertheless, i didn't really say anything since my mum has already made up her mind.

when it came to dinner time, i found her experimented mistake!

but surprisingly, this funny-looking coloured porridge tasted rather good actually :)
