LUCKILY I AM NOT A BOY!

there have been many changes at work lately. some people have been going in and out and some others, thinking about leaving. well, i've been somewhat affected. affected in a way because i don't think i can be myself in an environment with so many variable factors changing constantly all at one time.

as much as i'm affected, my kids have been affected too. mood swings, blasting temperaments and chaotic behaviours have been surfacing up because of the constant change of my assistant teachers. it wouldn't be that bad if each child's temperamental changes weren't that influential to one another.

after the first few months of work, i realised that my days are pretty much determined by my children. so having a good or bad day depends on my kids' moods for the day. but i thank God for the good start of the week. these 2 days have been rather good lately, even when there was the gloom of monday blues amongst my children in the atmosphere yesterday.

well, i had a little accident today. but their conversation were amusing enough to make the victim stop crying. i brought the 7 kids to the toilet and after using the toilet, they were supposed to sit at the bench outside to wait for me. since i was alone, i had to run in and out of the toilet. as i was trying to make benedikt use the toilet (it takes ages for him because he jumps up and down, runs everywhere and plays with the door each time he's in the toilet), i heard gordon crying from the outside. so i rushed out immediately, holding ben with me.

me: what happened, gordon?
gordon: *crying*
me: audrey, why did gordon cry?
audrey: because scott scratched his face

so i went to check gordon's face immediately and found a fresh scratch mark on his right cheek. i looked sternly at scott.

scott: *touched gordon's face, looking very scared* sorry sorry, i'm sorry.
gordon: *still crying, ignoring scott
chantelle: AIYO! how come the boys like to fight?
audrey: luckily i am not a boy.
charlene: me too!
benedikt: gordon don't cry ok? *rushes to gordon and gave him a hug*

scott: *sobs, looking very sorry* sorry gordon, sorry gordon
benedikt: scott! naughty boy! cannot scratch your friend, you want me to scratch you?
audrey: YA! you want me to scratch you?
chantelle: cannot scratch your friend you know!

so they started this big hoo-ha about scratching until gordon decided to stop crying.

gordon: STOP! very noisy you know. scott, you go and take medicine and put on my face.
scott: why?
gordon: then you want to see my ugly face ah! ugly face not nice you know.
benedikt: i take i take!
audrey: no, i go and take!
me: *laughs* okay, how about scott go and take the medicine for gordon?
chantelle: gordon, i ask mummy for cream and bring for you tomorrow ok?
gordon: huh? no need, medicine can already.
chantelle: no! my mummy's cream very good one. will make your scratch no more and make your face very beautiful one.
me: LOL.
charlene: ah! i ask my mummy for powder for you ok? put already cannot see the scratch anymore! very good one!
me: ?!
audrey: luckily i am a girl, never fight. cos if fight, will have scratch and next time got scratch can put cream and powder!
me: *faints*

ahhhh. a side note. there's a lot of children's musicals and plays coming up lately. wheeeeeee~! :):)
