due to some miscommunication, my assistant teacher has gone over to the infant side to help for this entire week. meaning, i took the entire class on my own. since kako is in for this week due to her other school having a week's break, i had 9 kids for the past few days. it wasn't easy handling the bunch of them, especially when ben leads the class into havoc. but i thank God that the week's nearly over.

PHEW.

yet through the busy and frustrating moments of the past few days, i managed to hear part of the children's interesting conversations again.

the children were having free play in class while i prepare their art & craft materials. apparently they got bored of the toys they were playing and ben decided to lead the class into some crazy 'jumping up & down' actions with lots of shriekings. i NEARLY FAINTED. but this was what i heard.

ben: AIRBUDDY! (rmb he doesn't know how to say everybody?) jump jump jump! *jumps & hops from wall to wall, then started running in circles

so, the whole class followed him. after some of my holding them down and talking them sternly, the girls were more settled in playing another set of toys while i am still trying my very best to control the boys, with only managing gordon. so i'm now left with ben, stanley and scott. which are the harder three to control.

ben: hop hop! jump jump! *holding stanley's hand and both started jumping together
stanley screamed & shouted: JUMP JUMP!
ben: squat! squat!

so stanley & scott heard and both of them squat down. but ben was still standing up, looking very puzzled. i sensed that something was going on in their minds, so i stepped back and observed.

ben: squat! squat! *still standing
stanley: squat! squat! *obviously following ben
ben immediately ran towards scott and tapped on his shoulder.

ben: HEY! why i call you so many times you don't answer me huh?!

i burst out into laughters immediately.
