my 3 year olds were busy engrossed into dough play at the table. i decided to pass a remark to test their responses.

me: i think i need to go to the toilet
chantelle: *looks up and frowns* GO LAH! GO LAH!
audrey: Go, go, go!
me: HAHA. but i cannot leave you here by yourselves.
gordon: can can, we will take care of ourselves. don't worry okayys?
*lots of laughs*

so i allowed them to carry on playing for another few mins before i began again.

me: i think i really need to go to the toilet
chantelle & audrey: GO LAH! GO LAH!
me: LOL. no, i can't leave you here on your own. how about you bring me to the toilet?
chantelle: no, i am busy making my dough. you should go yourself. you are a big girl already you know? even i can go by myself!
me: *burst out laughing*

then chantelle went to approach gordon.

chantelle: gordon, can you bring ms xuan to the toilet please? she can't go by herself.
me: *carry on laughing*
gordon: but i am a boy. i cannot bring her to the girls' toilet!
chantelle: oh oh. i forgot that you cannot go to girls' toilet. charlene, can you bring ms xuan to the toilet?
charlene: huh? no! i am busy. i haven't finished playing with my dough yet.

after 2 tries, chantelle decides to give up and ignore my request.

chantelle: ms xuan, everybody is busy. nobody can bring you to the toilet. so you have to wait until we are done.
me: ?!

2 hours' later, i brought the class to combine with ms vera's class since we have a few teachers on MC today. then my boss decided to come in to help, since there are some kids who have to take their dinner. this time, i really wanted to use the toilet, so i asked my boss.

me: may i go to the toilet first then i'll be right back to carry on with the children's dinner?

before my boss could say anything..

chantelle: GO LAH! GO LAH!
me: HAHAHAHA.
chantelle: oh. i think i'm free now. i can bring you to the toilet already. thank you for waiting!
me: *faints*

and my boss? i could see her laughing without any sound coming out of her mouth. LOL.
