some signs and hints that show you that you are REALLY REALLY getting older each year:
1. your older newly-wed cousins bringing their spouses for your usual reunion dinners
2. cousins of the same generation bringing their boyfriends/girlfriends for the same reunion dinners
3. realising that one of your cousins is pregnant
4. uncles and aunts probbing questions into your love life
5. distant relatives whom you see each year saying things like "wah. you've grown so big. when are you getting married?"


okayys okayys. there's more but i can't really recall all that happened in the day. but well, i think i'm getting old.





anyways, i had dinner with my paternal family of about 40plus people at the jumbo seafood restaurant over at east coast park. though the food was slightly above average, it was certainly a good time over dinner. filled with lots of smiles and laughters.

actually i wanted to take more pictures and of the whole family. but it was pretty difficult as there was too much movements and the place was too crowded. however, i still managed more pictures than yesterday though.





i begin to realise that i treasure this chinese new year better than how i did for the past few years. maybe because i grew a little closer to some people in the family and got to know them better. perhaps its also because i am starting to appreciate family ties too. it is really heart warming to know that apart from your friends, there's always a circle of connections and bed of comfort to fall back on when things are going downhill :)
