even when i was doing late-coming duty, it was a breeze too. less people come late because all of them rush to school earlier to begin giving out of their presents. its lovely to see the amount of effort taken and amount of thought being put in for this special occasion.
well, its not just that. when you enter into your classroom before assembly starts, you see the table tops being filled up with various notes and gifts every minute because people start entering other classrooms to leave behind their appreciation of their love even when the receiver is not in school yet. how sweet.
there are many plus points of being in school on valentine's day. nearly everyone will be in class, in fact none will be absence cos there's so much to do and so much to rejoice over. the giving and receiving. the different kind of atmosphere in the air that day. even teachers get their fair share too. they receive gifts and notes from their students. although they maybe fidgety in class due to the excitement and their valentine's day gifts falling all over the table because there's not enough space, the teachers get a very happy and attentive bunch of girls!
you see, i really miss valentine's day back in PL. the environment and atmosphere is really different because you know that just for that day, any unhappiness will turn into something joyful when all the smiles, laughters and hugs simply overwhelm your mood. how heartwarming :)
