know what. i just had a very interesting encounter.


was on my way back after buying some gifts. then i came across this old lady carrying quite a number of plastic bags. she looked kind of unstable and was having difficulties with carrying her stuff. so i decided that i'll just offer her my help. but it was kinda hard conversing with her cos she spoke hokkein and me? my mandarin could barely make it. although i could understand her. haha.


so i carried her stuff with her. apparently her house is like far far away from the place where i helped her. we walked for nearly 20mins, passing through many flats. it seemed like a long long walk. then she stopped under a void deck and says that i can leave the stuff there and she'll go home from here. i tried to like ask if i can just help her bring up to her house since i've come this far already. but she kept refusing. i guess it was maybe she just didn't want strangers into her place or something.


the amazing thing is that before i went off, she said "God bless you" in chinese. well, one thing i know that she's not a believer cos she has this other religion chain on her neck.


then i pulled out this chinese bible that i bought earlier. it was supposed to be a gift. i put it into her hands and said "God bless you" in chinese too. then i tried to figure my way back.


i don't know why i did that. neither do i understand how everything happened. it must be God :)
