i was pretty daunted by the previous time i went for a blood donation, which was also my first. i didn't exactly have a good experience because the doc there said that my veins were too fine. well, i still managed to complete filling up the whole 450ml pack but were pricked horribly for 3 times for nothing. but just yesterday, it was a so much better experience. headed down to the bloodbank for my second time. i guess its because the people there were more professional than those you see at those blood donation drives. after all, it is for a good cause. i won't mind doing it regularly and collect the different coloured bandages!


oh. caught the gingerbread man after all. certain parts of the musical were rather inappropriate for children, i feel. they often say that children need more exposure so that they can engage their curious minds. but how much exposure is suitable for kids from 3 to 8 years old? those unsuitable parts were more like quiet humour for the not-so-young people among the crowd. its kind of sad to see how companies in our society today, change certain areas of their job scope just to suit the worldly demands we have today. however, it is pretty amusing and exciting to see the reactions of the children and their responses. those brought me back to thinking about the few times i've kept to myself and being too embarrassed to display how i truly feel.


there's always a child-like side to each individual. every now and then when i look at the kids whom i take care of every sunday morning, i'm once again reminded of the importance of my child-likeness in God :)
